Who Am I?
Hi, I’m Kai Loiseaux-Purcell! I’ve lived in the Minneapolis area my whole life and I am currently studying Media and Information at the University of Minnesota, focusing on advertising. Music is my biggest passion, but I’m also deeply interested in history, art, pop culture, news, and fashion. Throughout college, I’ve been actively involved in the music scene—reviewing concerts for RadioK, managing local artists, promoting shows, and interning at Skyway Theatre in Minneapolis, where I worked on social media marketing and wrote artist bios for their website.
I’ve always been curious about different cultures, which probably comes from my family—my parents met in Saudi Arabia, and I grew up hearing stories about their travels. I’ve been lucky enough to do some traveling myself, which has given me a chance to experience different perspectives firsthand. A fun fact about me: I have dual American and British citizenship. I’ve also studied Spanish and French, which has helped me connect with more people and broaden my perspective. Using a mix of my interests and a creative mindset I’m excited to bring fresh ideas and a global influence into the world of advertising.
